Catalyst acquires SAP consulting firm

Catalyst International Inc., a provider of supply chain execution systems, says it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Philadelphia area-based Catalyst Consulting Services Inc., an independent provider of consulting, implementation and support services for the SAP Logistics Execution System (SAP LES). (Prior to the acquisition, the two companies were not related, despite their similar names.)

James B. Treleaven, president and CEO of Catalyst International, says the acquisition will help the company accelerate the growth of services to its SAP LES customer base. Catalyst Consulting serves Fortune 500 companies with the implementation of the warehouse management solution portion of SAP LES.

Catalyst International expected to sign a definitive agreement this month.
