About
who we are

Design Plans and Ideas is a unique marketing program, which is spearheaded by a group of leading suppliers in the materials handling field. From lift trucks and dock equipment to sophisticated WMS systems, this team of suppliers have joined forces to deliver information that will help you design or redesign a new manufacturing, distribution center or warehouse facility. The partners of Design Plans and Ideas work in conjunction with the staff of Modern Materials Handling and Gross and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in logistics and warehouse design, to publish three supplements each year. These supplements contain five different layouts incorporating various materials handling products.

Our March issue of Design Plans and Ideas has a new look. We have changed the format to make it easier for you to read, find design ideas, and to help solve your materials handling problems.

Please check out the March issue of Design Plans and Ideas. I would love to hear what you think of our redesign. Feel free to drop me an email at rmcgee@cahners.com or give me a call at 617-558-4388. Our next issue will be published in July and will focus on third-party logistics. Looking forward to hearing from you.
